November Luncheon- "Fraud and Cyber Security Risks"
We are pleased to have Lieutenant Nic Castle, Texas Rangers Company "B", as our guest speaker for the ETEPC November luncheon. He will be discussing the current environment of financial fraud and security risks.
Lieutenant Nic Castle began his law enforcement career with the North Little Rock Police Department in North Little Rock, Arkansas in July of 2005. Lieutenant Castle served as a Patrol Officer with the North Little Rock Police Department until September of 2007. In September of 2007, Lieutenant Castle joined the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Trooper Trainee, completing Recruit School in March of 2008. Upon graduation, Lieutenant Castle was assigned to the Highway Patrol Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Trooper in Tyler, Texas. Lieutenant Castle was promoted to the position of Highway Patrol Corporal in July of 2012 and to the position of Highway Patrol Sergeant in July of 2013.
Lieutenant Castle was selected for the position of Texas Ranger in August of 2016 at which time he was assigned to Texas Rangers Company “B”. Lieutenant Castle was promoted to his current rank of Lieutenant in January of 2022. Lieutenant Castle is a member of the Texas Rangers Company “B” Major Crime Scene Response Team and holds certifications as a Certified Crime Scene Analyst from the International Association for Identification and the University of Tennessee National Forensic Academy. Lieutenant Castle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from East Texas Baptist University which he earned in December of 2000. Lieutenant Castle currently holds a Master Peace Officer’s License with over 3800 hours of law enforcement training hours.
